The main character of the Black Ops, Alen Mason returns as the protagonist in the Cold War section, where he will fighting for the US in a Cold War. In 2035, a second Cold War starts between China and US. War is defined by robotics, cyber warfare and unnamed vehicles. Both Multiplayer and Zombies modes have altered to give veteran players a new experience with much more choices. The player's choice affects both the current mission and the overall course of the story. At the end, the player may have changed the result of the Cold War.
